Hi there, this text was meant for people of Null Signal Games that comes to Netrunner Worlds 2023. I’m going to center in stuff that I already know. Also there are several points of turistic information that are also useful in the city.

Also there are some bundles that include several of these monuments-visits.

Modernism and Gaudi buildings

Cool buildings from early XX century. In general they are cool but they are expensive (usually between 12–30 euros one entry)

Sagrada Familia

Big temple in the middle of Barcelona. Need reservation. 26 euros per person. There are some subtle discounts if you are younger than 30 (2 euros). Kids under 11 enter free. Tickets and mor info here: https://sagradafamilia.org

Also worth it if you don’t enter and just visit from the outside.

Beware that this is one of the most touristic points in Barcelona. That means that everything surrounding it is going to be expensive and targeted to tourist (souvenirs, etc)

Parc Güell (pronounced Park well)

Modernist park with decorations and the famous dragon. 10 euros per person. Also with reservation. You can have more info here https://parkguell.barcelona/en

The downside: its after some walk.

How to arrive to Parc Güell

Casa Batlló and La Pedrera

Residential modernist buildings in Passeig de Gràcia. They are very interesting. They are also very expensive. 25 € la Pedrera https://www.lapedrera.com/en

Casa Milà or “La Pedrera”

Casa Batlló is just in front of the Pedrera. https://www.casabatllo.es/en Also 29 € entering there.

MOAR MODERNISM with Batlló

Other modernist buildings

Casa Amatller

Just next to casa Batlló. I haven’t visited it yet. I know that they also sell chocolate. 20 € https://amatller.org/en/la-casa/

Hospital Sant Pau

Hospital complex also modernist. 16 €. You can see more info here: https://santpaubarcelona.org/en/visita/visita-lliure/

Museums

CCCB — cultural creation in Raval https://www.cccb.org/en 6/8 € They have weird expositions but they are usually very cool. Depending on the season and taste of each one.

MACBA Contemporary art of Catalonia. Extensive contemporary art collection. Also in Raval, next to CCCB https://www.macba.cat/en Entry around 6–8 €.

Museu Picasso

If you like Picasso this museum is very good. If not, then avoid. The building is also an old palace. https://museupicassobcn.cat/en 14 €

Picasso Museum

Caixa Fórum. Depends on the exhibit but this in the Montjuic area 6 € entering the exhibition but entering the building and go around is free and it’s worth it. https://caixaforum.org/en/barcelona

MNAC

The big painting museum of Catalonia. They have a lot of medieval art but also from other times and several temporary exhibitions. Worth it. In Montjuic Area https://www.museunacional.cat/en Price up to 12 € per person but there are several discounts. The visit around Montjuic is also worth it

MNAC

Miró Fundation

I haven’t visited this one yet. It seems to be a good collection of art from Joan Miró with other exhibits. In the Montjuic Area https://www.fmirobcn.org/en/ Online price 14 €.

Mies Van Der Rohe Pabillion

And for those architecture freaks I have to mention the Mies Van Der Rohe pabillion also in Montjuic area. 8 € but you can see perfectly from the outside. https://miesbcn.com/home/en/

CosmoCaixa

This is one of these interactive museums/science museums so if you go with kids this one is GREAT. Getting to the point it’s a bit tricky but worth it. Also it has a part with a living capibara and other animal and fishes that’s worth mention. 6 € general entry (https://cosmocaixa.org/es/)
